✨The classic Japanese asanoha pattern consists of repetitive geometric pattern shaped like a six-pointed star, represents hemp leaves. Before cotton was imported to Japan, most textiles were made from hemp. Hemp is a hardy plant, able to grow fast and straight without requiring much attention. As a result, this plant has become a symbol of vigor, resistance and healthy growth ✨
These beautiful antique silver gauged earrings feature a gorgeous Japanese asanoha geometric pattern, are nice and dangly measuring approx 9cms from tip to tip, and weigh approx 13 grams each.
This pair have been made on 2 gauge (6mm) surgical steel full curl hooks, suitable for stretched lobes.
