These awesome 'Tanuki' earrings have been made with ceramic Japanese raccoon dog charms sourced from a buddhist temple in Nagasaki, Japan.
Tanuki are a part of Japanese folklore, and are known to bring good fortune.
This pair are relatively light weight at 11 grams a piece, and measure 6.5 cms from tip to tip.
These have been made on 6 gauge (4mm) stainless steel full curl hooks, suitable for stretched lobes.
