These are photo examples for the hooks and clasps we offer for pierced ears and smaller gauges.
There may be slight variations in the style depending on colour of the hooks ie, silver, gold, bronze, black or rose gold tone.
đź”´ French hooks - These are all the same size and style throughout every listing.
đź”´ Leverback hooks - These are also the same size and style throughout every listing.
đź”´ Kidney hooks - We tend to use two sizes of kidney hooks, a smaller hook and a substantially larger hook.
If you have a preference please let us know, otherwise we will make your earrings on the hooks shown in the item listing you purchase. Kidney hooks are great for pierced ears and stretched lobes.
đź”´ Ear cuffs- Stainless steel and available in three colours, for pierced ears.
đź”´ Threader chains- Thin stainless steel chains with slender bars that thread directly through the pierced ear.
đź”´ Shephard hooks - Our shephard hooks come in two sizes and as per the item listings, they are to be worn through silicone earlets in stretched lobes.
They are not suitable to be worn through smaller gauged metal tunnels as the shape simply will not allow.
The small shephard hook is designed to be worn through silicone earlets from 8 gauge (3mm), and the large shephard hooks is more suitable for silicone earlets from 2 gauge (6mm).
đź“Ś Our small shephard hook measure 2.4cms from top to bottom.
đź“Ś Our large shephard hooks measure 3.8cms from top to bottom.
đź”´ Chain/lobster clasp - 4mm, 8mm and 10mm indicates the size of the tunnels or earlets they can be worn through, not the size of the chain or clasp. There is a slight difference between the 4mm and 8mm option, though as shown in the photo examples the 10mm is a much chunkier chain than the 4mm or 8mm.
