Papa Legba is a Loa of death in Haitian voodoo, Gate keeper of the Spirit World, and charged with the balancing of the scales of life and death. In Haiti he is the great elocutioner, facilitating communication, speech, and understanding.
This is a pair of beautiful jasper and antique bronze earrings from the 'Papa Legba' range, inspired by the Haitian Vodou Loa of death.
As with all the pieces in my Papa Legba range of jewellery, these earrings are made with stone skulls in rich, beautiful, earthy organic colours, in honour of Papa Legba.
These earrings measuring just on 6cm from tip to tip, weigh only 3 grams each, made on antique bronze french hooks, suitable for pierced ears.

*I recommend shephard hooks be worn through silicone earlets in stretched lobes, they sit snug and look great, while chain and clasps are suitable to be worn through metal tunnels.
*If you are purchasing chain and lobster clasp to fit 4mm tunnels, please ensure the inner diameter of your tunnels is at least 3.6 mm. This option may not suit tunnels with 'fat' walls. If you are unsure if this option will work with your tunnels please get in touch before you purchase.
*I do not recommend any of my pieces for stretched lobes be worn through naked lobes if you have sensitive ears.
